Salary: LPT Grade 6 £30,270 - £32,465 per annum FTE salary

 £2,843 - £3,050 per annum pro rata

“Are you passionate about education governance and looking for a flexible, impactful role within a supportive team?”

We’re looking for a dedicated Governance Professional to join our Trust Operations Team.

The successful candidate will help Learning Partners Academy Trust become a ‘leading trust where children thrive’ by providing confidential, efficient, and responsive Governance support and guidance to at least one school’s Local Governing Body (LGB) and the Trustee sub-committees.

You will:

• Ensure the smooth administration of at least one school’s LGB and the Trustees sub-committee meetings.

• Prepare, collate and distribute agendas and associated papers in advance of meetings.

• Provide accurate procedural and legal advise and guidance as required

• Clerk the sub-committee meetings and local governing body meetings and ensure that accurate minutes are taken and circulated

• Promote the development and ongoing management of an induction/onboarding and CPD programme for Trustees and Governors.

• Maintain the membership details of all Trustees

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of education governance and the legal framework.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The resilience to manage competing demands and adapt to changing priorities.

The post holder will be required to work a minimum of 4 hours per week over 38 weeks per year with the flexibility to occasionally adjust their working pattern according to the needs of the trust. Additional hours maybe available.
