Job Overview

We are excited to offer a new opportunity within our central strategy team for a Procurement Support Officer, on a permanent basis. This important role supports delivery of procurement operations, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the Trust. The successful candidate will maintain our Central Contract Register, coordinate supplier programmes, and play a key role in best practice process improvements. You’ll help develop standard operating procedures and support contract lifecycles, working directly with operational colleagues and senior stakeholders across all school sites.

The role is based at the Learning Partners Academy Trust central offices in Guildford but there will be travel across our schools. 

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Possess strong knowledge of procurement compliance and relevant legislation, including the Procurement Act 2023
  • Have proven experience managing and delivering tender processes within the public sector
  • Demonstrate the ability to support senior leaders and stakeholders while successfully delivering projects to agreed timelines
  • Bring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of audiences
  • Work in a systematic yet adaptable way, with the confidence to operate independently
  • Hold a full driving licence, enabling travel between sites as required
  • Remain calm and professional under pressure, acting with discretion and integrity at all times
