“OUTSTANDING in all areas” – Ofsted 2017 & 2023

We are recruiting Progress Coaches to start as soon as possible, working either full or part-time, to join this highly successful school, with an opportunity to work in our new provision for autistic children, The Loft, opening in September 2025.

We are looking for an efficient, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to provide support for students, teachers and school in order to raise standards of achievement for all students. This exciting new way of working means that every day is different; it is not traditional in class support. Our Progress Coach model enables students to receive excellent quality, bespoke provision.

You will develop a positive working relationship with your allocated students, enabling you to plan the best support for their academic and social progress. You will be approachable, calm, caring but firm.

Previous experience of working with teachers and supporting students is desirable although not essential. A high standard of literacy and numeracy is essential for this post, as is the enthusiasm to help raise the achievement of students. IT skills are essential.

Guildford County School is the most oversubscribed school in Surrey and enjoys an excellent reputation in the local community. Our students and staff are widely praised for their passion and dedication.

In return Guildford County School can offer you:

- Use of Gym facilities
