We are seeking a motivated, organised and proactive Resources Assistant to support the effective delivery of a high-quality education provision, maintaining excellent professional standards and contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Visual Arts department, preparing materials and equipment for lessons, maintaining specialist resources, and ensuring that teaching spaces are well organised, safe and visually engaging. You will also work closely with teaching staff across the school, supporting both practical activities and administrative tasks such as photocopying, laminating and resource preparation during busy periods.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in creative subjects and be a practical and organised colleague. You should be confident in upskilling to use specialist equipment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, alongside an understanding of the importance of health and safety in a practical environment.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the school by helping to organise and maintain displays and exhibitions that celebrate student work, monitoring stock levels, and supporting practical examination processes when required. The role requires a professional, flexible and reliable individual who can build positive working relationships with staff and students, and support the smooth operation of a busy and successful team.
