Guildford County is an outstanding school seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join a highly successful department to teach up to and including A Level. Mathematics is hugely enjoyed subject and last year was the most popular choice at A level! In 2022 almost 90% of students achieved 4+ and 43% of grades achieved were 7+ at GCSE. At A level the results achieved last year were 54% and 62% A*/A for Maths and Further Maths respectively.
We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics who is committed to raising standards at all levels; delivering excellent lessons and enthusing students through their passion for teaching. We pride ourselves on our strong team ethos; we have high staff retention which we believe is due to the friendly, hardworking and supportive team who believe in providing the best opportunities for our students. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (previously NQTs) and actively support new teachers with an extensive development programme that will take you through your first two years.
