Job type: 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FT considered

Start date: Flexible for the right candidate. Ideally from January 2026. Will also consider Easter or September start

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced primary school practitioner and leader with the ability to drive improvement and excellence in teaching, learning and curriculum across our trust’s primary schools. You will play a crucial role in the trust-wide strategy to secure gains in pupil outcomes, developing leaders and securing systems to ensure we maximise the achievements of all our learners.

With a proven track record of supporting colleagues to improve their teaching and learning practice, you will be proficient in providing actionable developmental feedback. Working collaboratively with trust and school leaders, you will help to identify areas for development, contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality professional development and nurture leadership talent across our schools.

You will have:

• Credibility as an experienced and successful primary school practitioner and leader with a demonstrable track record of success, particularly with improving teaching.

• The ability to develop teachers’ practice through instructional coaching.

• The ability to work with school senior, middle, and central leaders to develop pedagogy sustainably.

• A comprehensive knowledge of pedagogical techniques and evidence-informed practice.

• The ability to plan and deliver high-quality CPD.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
