Leatherhead Trinity School and Nursery is searching for an Early Years Practitioner or Learning Support Assistant to help our children to grow, learn and flourish in our Reception cohort.

Leatherhead Trinity School and Nursery is a happy and successful, two form entry, Primary School close to the centre of Leatherhead. We were judged Good by Ofsted in all categories in June 2019. Governors are seeking to appoint a talented Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated and exceptional staff team.

We are looking for someone who will support our youngest children to achieve their best and fill them with a joy of learning. Our motto is ‘all things are possible for one who believes’ and we are committed to this vision in our teaching and across all school life. Our nursery caters for children age 2 to 4 and is a happy, vibrant and exciting place to be with a great team of established and experienced staff and a huge outside space.
A practitioner who is qualified to Level 3 or above is desirable, but not essential. We are searching for someone who is passionate about supporting children as they take their first steps into the world. You will be interested in their individual development, supportive of their needs and excited to inspire awe and wonder into each day that they spend with us at nursery.
Whilst this is a full-time position, we are committed to supporting healthy life-work balance for our team and can be flexible for the right person. We support working parents, part time students and individuals with Carer’s responsibility.

HOURS: 30.25 over 38.6 weeks per year (term time plus 3 inset days)
Possible 5 extra hours for Midday cover
QUALIFICATIONS: Level 3 or above for EYP, but not essential for LSA.
