Our fabulous Primary School in Leatherhead is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Assistant. You’ll support the school in ensuring the safety, welfare, and behaviour of children, and help children with dining, social skills, and a positive play experience. This role is ideal for anyone looking to gain school employment experience or just a few hours of work per week in term-time.
This permanent position is open for an immediate start. We are looking for five days a week (11.30 am to 1.00 pm). 7.5 hours a week for 38.6 weeks per year. Term time plus three inset days.
The pay is at Surrey's PS3 level FTE £23,576 Actual £4,182
We are looking for someone who:
• Has excellent communication skills
• Is enthusiastic with a sense of humour
• Able to display a confident, positive and pro-active attitude towards pupils
• Can manage and organise their time effectively
• Enjoys working collaboratively with others
• Is comfortable with administering basic first aid
