An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of healthcare lecturers at Leicester College. We are looking for someone to take a fulltime role as a lecturer and join our team to teach T level Health Sciences and BTEC Health and Social Care.
With the expansion of our area and two newly built and fully operational nursing and midwifery wards we are looking for a teacher with specialist subject knowledge to enhance these resources. Ideally you will have vocational experience of working in Health and Social Care and be able to lecture on a wide range of aspects within the sector. You must be enthusiastic about delivering programmes using a variety of delivery methods predominantly to 16-18 year olds.
For this role the following skills are essential: the ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently and to manage your own administrative work effectively. You will demonstrate an ability to communicate well and be able to classroom manage effectively.
It is essential for the successful candidate to be qualified to level 5 in a relevant Health and Social Care subject and to hold a Level 2 in Maths and English.
