Maintenance Team Leader. Estates. Part Time. 23.5 Hours Per Week. Permanent.
We have an exciting opportunity within our Estates team for a Maintenance Team Leader.
The purpose of this role is to provide a proactive and high-quality maintenance service by supervising the multi-skilled maintenance team’s work across campuses carrying out maintenance on the fabric of the buildings occupied by Leicester College. Works include alterations and refurbishment projects carried out by the maintenance team.
As team leader you will supervise and motivate your team. You will be involved with the effective recruitment and selection of staff, performance appraisals and supporting the training and development of your team.
The successful candidate will have qualified experience within the Carpentry trade as well as a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent) and a Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
Hours of work: Varied, Flexible Shift Patterns Monday – Friday during core College hours
