As a Wellbeing Mentor you will be responsible for managing mentoring appointments and drop-in sessions, assessing your students' support needs, identifying barriers to their learning, target setting and monitoring progress.
You will also be required to support Care Experienced young people in their Personal Education Plan Meetings representing the college when required.
The successful candidate will hold:
a minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent)
a Level 3 qualification or equivalent
Recent and relevant experience working with young people in a diverse setting would be advantageous.
