An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Lead within the Employability and ESOL department (EMES). Following the internal promotion of the current postholder. The post will be based at our City Skills Centre Campus.
The successful applicant will need to be qualified to at least a Level 4 (or equivalent) with a teaching qualification at Level 5 or above. As the postholder will have a weekly teaching commitment, in addition to a range of other responsibilities you will need to have significant experience of teaching within a college or similar environment. You will have recent and applicable experience working with unemployed adults, have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and the ability to work accurately within a very busy team are essential.
You should also be able to work in a fast paced environment, meeting tight deadlines, have a good attention to detail. Experience of designing programmes from scratch and timetabling would be an advantage.
Applicants will need to hold a Level 2 or equivalent qualification (grade C or above or grade 4 or above) in maths and English, as well as experience of using Microsoft packages which includes the following: One Drive, Teams and Class Notebook, EBS Shape, SharePoint and the registration and claims process.
