As a Lecturer in Computing, you will be dedicated to excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. Experience of successful delivery across a range of computer related subjects BTEC L3 / T-Levels / Higher Education is required. You should also have experience of delivering high-quality teaching to both Further Education students including adults.
You should have the following:
- Level 5 qualification in the vocational area and have the ability and experience to deliver IT courses at Levels 3 to 5 (HE)
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent in maths and English
- Fully Teacher qualified e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE or be willing to work towards obtaining a teaching qualification. Successful applicants who do not already hold a teaching qualification, will be supported in gaining the required Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills status.
Experience of delivering on HNDs, BTEC courses or T levels and the ability or experience to deliver courses on Cloud computing and Cyber-security would be an advantage. Experience of other vendor certifications such as Cisco, CompTIA and Microsoft Professional would also be an advantage.
