About the Role 

We are seeking to appoint a Full-time Lecturer for our Freemen’s Park based ESOL 19+ provision.

You will have a minimum of three years' teaching experience of preparing students for ESOL Skills for Life qualifications across a range of levels. A proven track record of working with students of different ages and abilities, assessing their language level, preparing and reviewing their Individual Learning Plans and completing all relevant enrolment, assessment and progression related documentation, is essential.

You will also hold the responsibility for conducting initial assessments and facilitating summative assessments.

The adaptation and implementation of College systems with a view to making high quality learning accessible to all ESOL students and monitoring their impact on individual students and their learning is one of the key features of this role.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of using ProMonitor or a similar learning and tracking portal effectively, to set up assessment schedules and to review learning. A substantial amount of internal verification of English, Maths and ICT qualifications will need to be undertaken to support the Curriculum Area with its quality assurance processes.
