Learning Coach. Engineering. Full Time. 37 Hours Per Week. Permanent. Term Time Only. 40 Weeks Per Year.
The Learning Coach is an exciting role within the College. You will take responsibility for a caseload of learners aged between 16 and 18 within the curriculum area of Engineering, including engineering and motor vehicle students. This will include supporting them in becoming independent learners through the development of their study skills and preparing them to progress to positive destinations. You will also deliver the Personal Development sessions to our students.
You will have the ability to approach difficult issues in a calm and responsible manner and be able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individual learners.
You must have:
- Level 2 minimum in maths and English or the equivalent.
- Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent.
Experience of working in either Engineering and or motor vehicle would be advantageous as would the knowledge of providing information, advice and guidance to young people.
