Welfare Advisor. Student Services. Part Time (30 hours per week). Permanent.

Every year, thousands of students from across Leicester and Leicestershire, as well as from overseas, choose to study at Leicester College. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Leicester College as part of the Welfare team.

You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide a comprehensive welfare and funding advice service for learners and potential learners across college sites. Applicants will be educated to Level 2 minimum in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). You will also hold a Level 6 qualification and have effective communication skills. It is essential that you have knowledge and understanding of the welfare benefit system. It would be an advantage to have experience of working in an advisory capacity.
