Leicester College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Apprentice Skills Coach, formerly known as Trainer Assessor, with current experience in Site Carpentry. We are looking for an individual who has the passion and ability to impart their experience, skills, and knowledge to a caseload of apprentices.
Responsibilities:
Conduct 8-10 weekly high-quality tripartite reviews of apprentices' progress across the holistic program.
Provide constructive feedback that motivates apprentices and helps them overcome potential barriers to progression.
Support apprentices in successfully passing their Apprenticeship End Point Assessment.
Uphold the high standards of service expected by both students and local, regional, and national employers.
Skills:
Current experience in Carpentry & Joinery.
Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial.
Experience working with apprentices is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, 'can do' approach to tasks.

Qualifications:
You must hold Level 2 qualification or equivalent in the vocational area.
Ideally hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessor and Verification award, e.g., TAQA, A1 or V1.
A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in maths and English or equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above.
