Events and Engagement Officer. Marketing. Full time. 37 Hours Per Week. Maternity Cover (20/05/24 – 06.06.25)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive professional for our friendly and busy marketing team. You will be managing and promoting a range of cross-college events to raise the profile of the College to prospective students, employers and staff.  

The role offers a great opportunity to build on event management and marketing experience, utilising a range of channels such as PR, social media and digital and copy writing.  

The post holder will work closely with colleagues to co-ordinate major events and with schools to promote the College.  The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Ideally, you will possess knowledge and experience in the education/FE sector, although this is not essential. 

You will have the following:

  • A degree level qualification or equivalent with significant experience in a relevant role.
  • A minimum Level 2 in maths, English and IT (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent).
  • A level 2 Information advice and guidance qualification (IAG) or the willingness to work towards this or have equivalent experience.
  • A full UK Driving Licence
