Part Time Vacancy 18 Hours per week

We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources team.

 As part of the Human Resources team, you will: 

  • Provide a high quality administrative service to the Human Resources Director, managers and team.
  • Administer the recruitment process from requisition to appointment, maintaining accurate records.
  • Undertake pre-employment checks and prepare contracts of employment and appointment letters for all employees.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate input of all data onto the HR system.
  • Ensure compliance with College policies, regulations, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Produce reports on HR activity and support ad hoc HR projects.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and effective communication across HR, the College, and external stakeholders.

What we’re looking for: 

  • Level 2 maths and English qualifications or the equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above
  • Minimum Level 2 in IT or have relevant experience and be a confident user of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Recent and relevant administrative experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in your work
