We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Coach to join our Hospitality and Catering department. In this role, you will work collaboratively with curriculum staff to help learners develop the personal, academic, and employability skills needed to become confident, independent, and successful individuals.
You will play a key role in supporting learners throughout their college journey, helping them overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and can provide high-quality support tailored to individual learner needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Personal Development sessions to groups of learners.
- Conduct both group and one-to-one tutorials.
- Support learners in setting, reviewing, and achieving SMART targets.
- Monitor and promote high standards of attendance and punctuality.
- Encourage and support participation in enrichment and personal development activities.
- Work closely with curriculum teams, support services, parents/carers, and external agencies to ensure learners receive the support they need.

You will be calm, approachable, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting learner success and wellbeing. Strong communication and collaborative working skills are essential, as the role involves regular liaison with colleagues and external stakeholders.

- Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (or equivalent), such as GCSE Grade C or above.
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Recent and relevant experience of working with young people.
