Lecturer in Travel and Tourism. Part Time (22.2 hours per week). Temporary (Maternity Cover).
An opportunity has arisen within our Business, Travel and Computing Curriculum area who are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Travel and Tourism specialist with part time Lecturer responsibilities.
As a Lecturer you will form part of a dynamic and successful team dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching and assessment across levels 1 to 6, with your travel specialism with relevant industrial experience and contacts.
You will hold a minimum Level 6 in the vocational area as well as a Level 2 or above qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent). The successful candidate will also be fully teacher qualified e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE or be willing to work towards obtaining a teaching qualification.
Successful applicants who do not already hold a teaching qualification, will be supported in gaining the required Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills status.
Experience of successful delivery across a range of levels and age groups will be an advantage and particularly, the ability to deliver on BTEC and City and Guild programmes.
