We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer with a passion for Motor Vehicle who can pass on their experience, knowledge, skills and attributes to our students to help support them to develop their own skills, knowledge and behaviours that will lead to achieving a qualification and a successful career.

As a Lecturer, you will deliver a variety of units across the Motor Vehicle apprenticeship standard. This is a new addition to the impressive portfolio of courses offered by the college and you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the team responsible for developing and enhancing this programme.

The successful applicant will possess a range of skills relating to the Motor Vehicle apprenticeship standard. You will also have the ability to work as part of a team, provide feedback in a way that motivates individuals and help learners overcome potential barriers to progress and achieve. We are looking for a positive, proactive, solutions focused individual to help us drive the provision to support our journey to outstanding.

You will be Educated to a Level 2 minimum in English and maths (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). Ideally you will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in a Motor Vehicle subject together with relevant industrial experience. Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards, E - portfolio’s (Smart Assessor) and experience of working with students would be beneficial along with excellent communication skills and a 'can do' approach to tasks. Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification or be working towards obtaining one.
