An opportunity has arisen within our Health and Social Care department for a Programme Lead to provide excellent teaching, learning and assessment opportunities for students.
You will work with a team to plan, deliver and assess learning to achieve student success for cohorts of full-time students. The role will include working with the Programme Area Manager to monitor courses and course data; planning programmes to maximise resources and funding. An important part of the Programme Lead’s role will be to ensure student progress is tracked and retention and achievement levels are maintained and improved, as well as the development and implementation of systems / processes and other improvements to support the management of learning.
You will have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning, experience of leading course provision and coordinating IV, together with the ability to appraise courses using a range of quality and performance indicators.
Experience of working within a Health Care setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will have the following:
A relevant Degree or equivalent level 4/5 HNC/D qualification as a minimum requirement.
Level 2 in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Level 4 or above, or equivalent).
Teacher qualified Level 5 or above e.g. Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent.
