External Trainer Assessor in Electrical Installation. Apprenticeship and Commercial. Full Time. Permanent.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious Trainer Assessor with a passion for Electrical Installation who can pass on their experience, knowledge, skills and attributes to our apprentices to help support them to develop their own skills, knowledge and behaviours that will lead to achieving the apprenticeship qualification and a successful career.

You will carry out 12 weekly tripartite reviews with the apprentice and the employer to set targets to ensure that all of our apprentices make outstanding progress throughout the duration of their programme. You will assess showcase portfolios for apprentices undertaking a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation in preparation for their end point assessment.

The successful applicant will possess a range of Electrical skills and relevant industrial experience to the Electrical Installation Standard. Ideally you will have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation along with a Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). Having the 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) qualification would be an advantage along with CAVA Assessors Award (A1/D32/D33). You will have good IT skills and experience of using Smart Assessor would be beneficial.

The ability to work as part of a team and be able to undertake training and assessment duties including planning and preparation of site visits, for which you will require your own transport.. We are looking for positive, proactive and solutions focused individual to help us drive the provision to support our journey to outstanding.
