We have an opportunity within our Education and Early Years team for a Trainer/Assessor on a new T level pathway in Assisting Teaching. We are seeking candidates who have experience within the primary education sector or early years sector and have worked with students previously in their profession.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective assessment within an established and committed team.  You will have the skills to motivate students to realise their ambitions and reach their full potential. You will be enthusiastic and have a passion for your profession and be able to guide students to succeed.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Support student retention and achievement through regular placement visits.

• Observe, assess, grade, and report on students’ workplace performance, ensuring alignment with NCFE national

occupational standards for working with children.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with teachers and tutors to create action plans.

• Contribute to NCFE assessment plans, procedures, and best practices.

• Communicate effectively with the work experience and NCFE teaching teams, providing regular updates to support collaboration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We’re seeking a flexible, well-organised individual with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to technology and virtual learning. You should have up-to-date Maths and English skills, and be capable of engaging and inspiring learners while modelling the qualities we aim to instil in them.

Essential Qualifications required:

Hold Level 2 or Equivalent in English and Maths

Level 3 Vocational Qualification in Childcare
