Catering Assistant
Leicester High School is a leading independent girls’ school, for ages 3-18, located off the London Road in Knighton. We pride ourselves in offering a supportive, enriching and creative environment for our pupils.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Catering Assistant to join our small Catering Department. The role involves assisting with food preparation, service, till work and completion of general kitchen duties including cleaning.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Literacy and numeracy skills, sufficient to perform specific tasks
- Knowledge of food hygiene
- Experience of food preparation
- Good communication skills with pupils and staff
- A friendly manner and sense of humour
- A flexible approach to working
Terms and conditions:
- 22.5 hours per week – 35 weeks per year (term-time)
- Hours of work 9.30am – 2.00pm Monday to Friday
- Hourly rate £9.58
- A uniform will be supplied
