The postholder will be based at a primary college location but will be required to work at both college campuses in line with the responsibilities and requirements of this role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Trust staff community in the new role of E-Learning and Independent Study Manager. Following a highly successful enrolment period across both Trust colleges we are seeking to appoint a passionate and engaging individual to lead the development of e-Learning initiatives and manage our new team of E-Learning Facilitators and Study Session Supervisors.

Working with staff at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton and St Vincent College in Gosport the post holder will lead the development and delivery of our e-Learning Strategy, Virtual Learning Environment and Trust Intranets.

The role will also directly manage our extended learning activities and study spaces, ensuring that students make full use of this important element of their study programme. The postholder will provide training and support for staff in order that we can maximise effective use of e- learning systems and initiatives.

The college is looking for an individual who is committed to holistic approaches to support students' academic and personal development. The successful candidate will need to possess appropriate knowledge of e-learning and IT systems, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able work under pressure as part of a team member but is also confident working independently with our students and staff.

The post will commence as soon as a possible once all safer recruitment checks are appropriate completed. All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
