Marketing Officer (Maternity cover)
September start until October 2025
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary - £32,690
We have an exciting opportunity available to coordinate College marketing, communication activities and promotional materials on a maternity cover basis. This includes supporting college promotion events. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person with a confident but diplomatic approach. You will be familiar with the further education environment and ready to build internal relationships to help get our message across in a highly competitive market. You will contribute to a positive college experience for our prospective students when they visit us or we meet them in the schools’ and the College community.
The right candidate will be hardworking and flexible, have the ability to work on their own initiative and have a passion for promoting the reputation of the College in the local community. As well as being creative and organised, our ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships with our local partners. The role also involves maintaining and directing developments of our online presence through our websites, online marketing and social media platforms; helping to create first class campaigns, promotional materials and printed collateral that capture our audiences’ interest.
Our preference is for a full-time appointment; however, this can be flexible for the right candidate should part-time be preferential for them.
A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required before the commencement of this position.
