Surrey’s Autism Outreach for Schools service seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to:
- spearhead the development and delivery of specialised autism support services for secondary mainstream schools; and
- lead the established Secondary Autism Outreach Team.
This role is pivotal in enhancing inclusive practices and ensuring that autistic students thrive in mainstream educational settings.
Key Attributes:
- Proven leadership experience in education, with expertise in autism and inclusive practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and organisational skills to manage and expand outreach services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with schools, local authorities, and the wider community.
- Passionate about driving impactful change and advocating for the needs of autistic students.
This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of autistic students and their families, while shaping the future of inclusive education in Surrey.
The successful candidate will be a qualified secondary teacher.
