Salary – Upper Pay Scale (£47,031–£50,471) plus SEN2 (£5,285) + TLR1 (£9,782)

Full time & Permanent

This post operates out of Limpsfield Grange School, Oxted, and requires willingness and ability to frequently travel and work extensively across and beyond Surrey.

Surrey’s Autism Outreach for Schools service seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to:

  • spearhead the development and delivery of specialised autism support services for secondary mainstream schools; and
  • lead the established Secondary Autism Outreach Team.

This role is pivotal in enhancing inclusive practices and ensuring that autistic students thrive in mainstream educational settings.

Key Attributes:

  • Proven leadership experience in education, with expertise in autism and inclusive practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking and organisational skills to manage and expand outreach services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with schools, local authorities, and the wider community.
  • Passionate about driving impactful change and advocating for the needs of autistic students.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of autistic students and their families, while shaping the future of inclusive education in Surrey.

The successful candidate will be a qualified secondary teacher.
