After School Club Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Grade 5.7

Actual hours: After School Club 3.15pm – 5.30pm

Number of hours: 4.5 Per Week (Thursday and Friday) with some extra hours where needed

Closing date: Friday 10th February

Interview date: Wednesday 15th February 2023

Highcliffe Primary School wishes to appoint a lead for our After School Club provision.

The foundation of our Trust is built on a perfect balance of Academic Excellence and Holistic Development. We would like to ensure there is a holistic opportunity for our pupils to attend After School clubs at Highcliffe.

We aim to provide:

  • A safe and stimulating environment for pupils
  • A range of enriching activities for pupils
  • Healthy nutritious snack
  • Strong relationships between staff and pupils

Purpose of Job:

  • Supervise children attending After School Club.
  • To plan and prepare appropriate activities for children’s social education and to encourage co-operation.
  • To be responsible for children’s safety, monitor their well-being and ensure good behaviour.

The right candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of working with children within the primary age range.

  • A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
