Greenstone Primary School
We are seeking to recruit our first ever teacher to this brand new school. What an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant! Greenstone Primary School will open in August 2025 and we would like to appoint a teacher to take charge of our very first intake in the Foundation Stage.
Greenstone will be following a Forest School approach to its curriculum therefore applications will need to show a commitment to this ethos, with some evidence of experience of outdoor learning.
We strongly believe that nature nurtures creativity and empowers children to take ownership over their learning, fostering independence and providing the freedom to take risks whilst developing confidence. At Greenstone, we believe regular contact with nature is essential for holistic, healthy child development and we will provide regular, invaluable outdoor learning opportunities as an integral part of our curriculum.
In its first year, Greenstone will have just one class in the Foundation Stage. As a newly built school we have some great facilities which we are continuing to develop in preparation for the opening. We would welcome prospective candidates to visit the school for a tour with the Head of School - Please call Broom Leys School or alternatively see application details.
Being part of the Lionheart Educational Trust you will have access to a range of staff benefits including Benenden Health Care, reduced gym membership fees, golden time (one day a year paid leave), free flu jabs and eye tests.
The Trust strives to be a diverse and inclusive place where all staff have a seat at the table: a seat to be free, a seat to inspire, a seat to challenge and a seat to succeed.
We currently have staff networks for staff who are Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer + (LGBTQ+), staff who would describe their background as working class and staff with a disability.
If you have any queries regarding the vacancy or the application process, please contact our HR department.
