Cover Supervisor

We are currently looking to recruit a full time Cover Supervisor on a permanent basis to start as soon as possible.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivation person to join our well-established Cover Supervisor team, to provide effective cover for absence teaching staff that will contribute towards achieving outstanding teaching and learning. This includes classes in our mainstream setting and our SEMH school Endeavour.
You will need a passion for engaging young people with their education so that no learning time is lost, with strong communication skills and an ability to work alongside a wide range of colleagues at our school.
Reporting director to our Assistant Principal, not only will you be integrated into the cover supervisor team, you will also have opportunities to develop and run specific projects within the school, such as mentoring and supporting our pupils in achieving their potential. If you are considering a career in teaching, this role would also provide invaluable experience.
Based at The Cedars Academy in Birstall, Leicestershire and part of the Lionheart Educational Trust.
32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus one week)
Grade 7 point 11 FTE £25,998 (actual salary £19,539 pa)
