Learning Support Assistant
1x Learning Support Assistant on a permanent contract full time and Part time will be considered.
Based at Martin High School in Anstey, Leicestershire and part of the Lionheart Educational Trust
32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time plus one week)
Grade 5 pay point 7 FTE £24,408 (actual salary £18,344.85)

The successful candidate will work with pupils under the guidance of the class teacher, SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning to help raise standards of achievement. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our dedicated and talented support team. The role will also include some general lunch time supervision. Our LSA’s work flexibly in that they may sometimes work with different classes or key stages, depending on the needs of the pupils and of the school as a whole.
The desired candidate will
- Be positive and enthusiastic
- Hold a level 2/3 relevant qualification?
- Experience of working with children who have additional needs and or on a 1:1 basis
- Be a team player
- GCSE Maths and English
