JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Maths or Science Teacher to join our thriving and supportive Maths or Science departments.  The successful applicant will also be a key part of the pastoral team as a Head of House. This is a critical role in the school; where positive leadership of learners and tutor teams will enable the school to develop and grow.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • The ability to teach Maths/Science to Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • A passion for Maths/Science and a commitment to integrating it across the curriculum
  • A high expectation for teaching and learning for learners of all abilities
  • A passion for achieving best outcomes for all learners to reflect our ethos that every child matters. Supporting their development as an individual as well as academically.
  • Forward thinking, creative, receptive to change and able to work with the team.
  • A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery.
  • The ability to work towards deadlines.
