We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dynamic and effective teacher to the post of Head of Year (subject specialism is flexible). Essentially, we are looking for someone who puts students’ learning and personal development at the heart of their practice. The Head of Year role is accountable for leading, managing and developing a team of year tutors, working closely with others to support students’ academic and pastoral needs.

We have a traditional pastoral structure, with Heads of Year for each year group, supported by non-teaching Assistant Heads of Year. The year teams work closely with our Emotional Health and Well-Being Champions, our Learning Support Team and with many external agencies to ensure students’ needs are met and are able to flourish in life.
