We are looking for an experienced religious studies practitioner to join our thriving Humanities Faculty. The post-holder will be responsible for the RS curriculum and all aspects of RS as a subject taught to all year groups.  This post carries an additional allowance of TLR2a - £2873 per annum.

The Littlehampton Academy is a large academy with a core ethos that supports the development of both staff and students. We are determined to improve student performance in all areas. The Humanities Faculty is a small, close-knit team of well-qualified teachers, whose preferred style is to work collaboratively and using a wide range of resources.

Students at TLA are proud of their school and loyal to their teachers. Colleagues are highly supportive and if you join us, you will benefit from our extensive CPD programme.

This post is suitable for experienced main scale or upper pay range teachers who wish to make an impact on the teaching of their specialist subject. The successful candidate will be motivated, creative and resilient, possessing both the skills to deliver high quality teaching and learning and the drive to ensure successful outcomes are reached. The ability to teach philosophy at key stage 5 and another humanities subject would be an advantage.

We would welcome an opportunity to show you our Academy. Please contact us to arrange a visit.

Closing Date: Tuesday 8 February at midday

Early applications are encouraged. We reserve the right to close the vacancy before the closing date so please apply early.
