The Littlehampton Academy is seeking to appoint to our pastoral support team. Working alongside an experienced year leader and reporting to a member of the leadership team, the post-holder will work within set procedures to improve the attendance, behaviour and outcomes of our students.
The Littlehampton Academy is a large academy with a core ethos that supports the development of both staff and students. We have recently been rated as Good in all areas by Ofsted. Students at TLA are proud of their school and loyal to their teachers. Colleagues are welcoming and highly supportive and we provide an extensive CPD programme offering development opportunities at all career stages.
This permanent position is 37 hours per week and is term time only (38 weeks per year). The initial rate of pay is the equivalent of £12.42 per hour, paid monthly over 12 months. The pay scale has six spinal points and increments are awarded in September until the top of the pay scale is reached. The actual starting salary is £19,986 per annum.
Please note the successful applicant will be required to undergo full safeguarding and vetting checks, including references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, and will be subject to a period of probation.
