LETTER FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Thank you for your interest in the role of Deputy Headteacher at Llantwit Major School.
If you are a current experienced senior leader with a passion and moral purpose for making a difference, this is the role for you. The Governing Body are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and innovative leader who can work effectively alongside the senior team to facilitate school improvement at Llantwit Major School. This is a time of important change in the school and this is an additional Deputy Headteacher role to build leadership capacity in the team.
The responsibilities of the post will be decided once the successful candidate has been appointed based on their skills and experience, however, this will not be a timetabling or Assessment, Recording and Reporting role. The right candidate will also be willing to adapt their role over time according to the school’s priorities, both for personal development and succession planning.
