Full time, fixed term until 31.08.2027, MPS2-UPS3
Interview date: Wednesday 20th May. If shortlisted, you will be notified by email or phone on the afternoon of the 18th. You will need to prepare and teach a 30-minute Science lesson to a mixed-ability Year 7 class on a topic of your choice, designed to inspire awe and wonder in the learners.
Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for a Teacher of Science to join us, working on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspirational Teacher of Science to make a positive difference to the lives and futures of our learners. We are looking for an experienced practitioner who will motivate and inspire our learners through their own passion for Science. The successful candidate will teach across the age and ability range and will be a key part of our supportive and successful team. The ability to teach Electronics would be advantageous but is not essential.
They will be a key part of our supportive and successful Science & Technology team.
