The Loughborough College’s support team are seeking a multiple Learning Support Assistant's, to join them in providing a range of support to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities. There will be a mixture of salaried and causal contracts available, please state how many hours you would be intrested in per week, on your application form. 


We are looking for someone to be involved in supporting learners across a range of courses from Entry level to Level 3 / A Level who have learning difficulties and disabilities including Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and Hearing & Visual/Physical Impairments. The successful candidate will provide in-class support and online support to individuals and groups of learners, which includes note-taking, assisting with personal care and mobility support.  


It is essential that applicants have at least 12 months of experience of working with students with a disability and have a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Applicants must possess at least a Level 2 qualification, GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent in Maths and English.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake further training where identified, particularly in areas such as Makaton and manual handling.
