The Role
London South East Colleges is seeking an exceptional and inspirational Curriculum Director for STEM to lead our dynamic department at the Holly Hill campus. This is a pivotal leadership role for a forward-thinking individual with a passion for innovation, quality, and impact in both education and commercial training.
As Curriculum Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering outstanding STEM and commercial programmes. You will lead a team of dedicated educators and industry professionals, driving curriculum development, learner success, and strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of courses.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a candidate who brings:
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing STEM and commercial provision, ideally within a further education or training environment.
- A strong background in STEM disciplines, with the ability to inspire both staff and students through subject expertise and industry insight.
- Commercial acumen, with a track record of designing and delivering commercially viable programmes that meet employer needs and generate income.
- Occupational competence in at least one of the curriculum areas under your remit, ensuring credibility and relevance in your leadership.
- A commitment to quality assurance, innovation, and continuous improvement, with the ability to translate strategic goals into operational excellence.
