We serve over 13,000 learners across a growing school and further education estate, ensuring over 75,000sqm of space is open, operational safe and compliant. Whilst delivering capital reinvestment and renewal projects currently running at over £50m. We are rationalising our estate and we are building whole new Colleges. We are maximising our income to reinvest in our existing buildings through a long-term masterplan lens - it’s an exciting time!
As the first Head of Projects & Procurement you will be leading both internal and external teams in delivering complex projects and programmes of work, across our Education estate ranging in size and complexity from whole new colleges and schools, to component renewal. With the responsibility for our strategic asset management programming, you will shape and drive a range of focussed reinvestment projects that supports outstanding learning; provides a great environment and experience to lean in; and that our curriculum needs remain the focus. Our ideal candidate will:
- Be a senior technical leader
- Have outstanding communication skills
- Be skilled in managing complex and challenging relationships
- Have a proven track record of leading complex technical projects and programmes in a large multi-site setting
- Have considerable expertise in the education/public sector
- Be an excellent strategic asset management planner
- Be collaborative whilst remaining resilient
