With a combined turnover of circa £65m and the ambitious growth plans of the group, there has never been a better time to join this exciting organisation.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and determined individual to be responsible for the delivery of a professional and responsive IT support service to demanding service levels. Post-holders will be expected to provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support and advice to all users of the network.

Skills/ Experience

It is essential that you incorporate continuous improvement in your work and have a desire to meet or exceed service targets. Initiative, customer focus and the ability to prioritise under pressure will help ensure the team continue to provide a highly valued service to the college. LSEC is committed to invest in staff to enable them to develop their skills via certified training.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, all staff will be subject to an ‘Enhanced’ DBS (formerly CRB) check, along with a Children’s Barred List check if in regulated activity. Any offers of appointment may be withdrawn if these checks prove to be unsatisfactory to the College. Self-disclosure will be required as part of the recruitment process. If you fail to make a full disclosure or provide sight of your DBS certificate then your offer of employment is likely to be withdrawn. The College's DBS policy covers the recruitment of ex-offenders which is available upon request.
