DT FOOD TECHNICIAN

Permanent, Part-time, Term Time Only plus 5 INSET days

JG3: SCP 5 £19,312 – SCP6 £19,698 pro-rata

Actual Salary £5,705.64 - £5,819.68 pa

Gordano School is seeking to appoint a part time, term time only D&T Food Technician to support our dynamic and successful D&T Faculty and directly improve our students learning experience in Food Technology. The role offers the successful candidate scope to develop their creative and practical skills as well as interpersonal skills within a team that excels in delivering high quality service to our students and staff. Ideally the role will be mornings only, 2.5hrs/day, precise timings to be discussed at interview.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience of undertaking a range of food-related tasks eg preparing equipment and materials for lessons as requested by the teaching staff, maintain records and have up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate commitment, creativity, an innovative style and show a desire to take on challenges and projects with an enthusiasm to work in a team with young people.
