Contract Types: Temporary – subject to continued EHCP funding
Hours: Variable – please see below (some lunch time supervision may be required)
Term time only.
Applications are invited from highly caring, motivated, resourceful and committed teaching assistants with duties to include the support of:
1. YR child at East Harptree School – 32.5 hours Mon-Fri
2. Y4 child at East Harptree School – 26.5 hours Mon-Fri
3. Y4 child at East Harptree School – Weds only
4. Y2 child at Ubley School – 6.5 hours Fri only
5. Y5 child at Ubley School – 16.25 hours Mon – Fri mornings
These roles will include working collaboratively and under the direction of the class teacher, and also with the schools’ SENCO, parents and outside agencies. In addition, the ability to work independently and to personalise learning environments when necessary is essential as is experience of working with children with special educational needs in particular in the areas of: speech and language, ASD and attachment, SEMH and physical development.
These appointments will take effect from 4th January 2021
The Collaboration of East Harptree and Ubley CofE Primary Schools consists of two small village schools situated in the Chew Valley. The successful candidate would become part of a friendly, hard-working collaborative team.
