Advert for Music Lead (HLTA-M6) – Burrington C of E Primary School
The governors are seeking to appoint an inspiring and caring Music Lead from October 2025 (or sooner) to join our vibrant and friendly school team. The post is part time 2.25 hours a week on a Tuesday afternoon. One hour every week will be with KS2 children (Year 5-6) and the other hour would be alternating in different classes termly across the school.
Burrington is a delightful four class rural primary school in the Mendip Hills. We are an inclusive Church School with a strong Christian ethos. We became part of a federation in November 2018 and we joined Lighthouse Schools’ Partnership in January 2023. The school was awarded a ‘good’ judgement in its most recent Ofsted (2017) and an ‘excellent’ judgement in SIAMS (2018). The post will be in a mixed Y3/4 class and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a subject.
