Teacher of Science
We have the opportunity for an inspiring and motivated Teacher of Science to join Backwell School on a full-time permanent basis from the 1 September 2026. Applications are welcome from both established and recently qualified teachers with appropriate relevant experience as well as from all specialisms.
The successful candidate will be able to teach Science to all abilities, at Key Stage 3 and 4. The ability to offer A Level teaching is especially welcome but not essential in the first instance.
The Science faculty occupies a central place in the academic life of the School and the post holder will be joining a team of 15 teachers and 4 technicians, working together to contribute and develop the Science department and the school.
