We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Trust as Local Governance Professional. Local Governance Professionals play a vital role in supporting the effective governance of our schools, acting as an administrator and impartial advisor to ensure our Local Governing Bodies operate efficiently and accountably.
To undertake this role successfully you will need to be totally committed to the provision of a high-quality support service to our governors and school leadership teams. You will have strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. You will be highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and a willingness to learn and develop. You will need to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships across our network of schools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing agendas in consultation with the Chair and Headteacher to ensure meetings are structured and focused
- Accurately recording and distributing meeting minutes to document the decisions and actions of the Local Governing Body
- Maintaining statutory records to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
- Offering procedural and legislative guidance to governors to support lawful and transparent operations
- Acting as a key liaison between the governing body, the school's leadership team and the wider trust
- Contributing significantly to the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of the school
- Participating in the wider network of Local Governance Professionals to share knowledge and engage in ongoing training

The Trust
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 30 schools in the Trust.
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Trust is a mixed MAT and includes both non-denominational and Church of England schools.
