After School Club Playworker
School: Yatton CofE Junior School
Hours: 3.30-5.30pm Mon & Tues and 3.30-6pm Weds – total of 6.5 hours/week
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31 August 2024
We are seeking a motivated Play Worker to work at our happy, friendly school, building on our commitment to provide quality extended school services for our children and families.
The successful candidate will:
- be able and willing to deputise for the Play Leader and be able to take responsibility in the Play Leader’s absence;
- be able to confidently manage critical incidents should they arise;
- be able to communicate effectively with parents on behalf of the After School Club;
- deliver play activities for children from Foundation Stage to Year 6;
- encourage fun and social interaction, and personal responsibility.
NVQ Level 2 in play work or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
