Class Teacher-Maternity Cover (Fixed Term Contract, to cover maternity leave, required from 1 September 2026 for 12 months or sooner depending on the return of the post holder.)

The Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent class teacher at Portishead Primary School. This role is fixed term in the first instance, pending a review of staffing for September 2026. This role could be in any year groups in KS1 or KS2. Decisions will be made about year group placement following appointment and in discussion with the successful candidates. Please specify your current areas of expertise in your application. We particularly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers.
